at some point is an inquiry into the sound of vulnerability through ritual. Performers are asked to write intimate letters to a past lover, and the raw sonic content of these letters becomes the material of the piece. This material is fragmented on a gradually expanding time scale between the two instruments, imitating the fragile and porous flow of memory. The piece was originally written for and premiered by Issei Herr, Eliza Shepherd, and Jennifer Timmins.
